| As the youngest in the family, she grew up surrounded by belly dance. At age twelve she started studying with April and other professional dancers. Allegra was the founder and director of the Bard Belly Dance Collective at Bard College in Upstate New York, which continues to stage two full-scale belly dance showcases per year. She has returned to the Bay Area to continue her dancing with the Three Sisters. |  |
